SAN ANTONIO, TX. — Just before 4 a.m. Thursday morning, officers responded to reports of an accident involving two vehicles on the ramp of IH-35 S to I-10 E. The suspected at-fault driver struck two vehicles, one of which belonged to an off-duty SAPD officer who was still in his uniform. Police said both vehicles were stopped off the highway when they were struck by the driver. The man failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
