BROWNSVILLE, TX – According to KRGV, the driver of a truck involved in a fatal July 13 car crash has been charged for his role in the accident.
The crash took place at the intersection of Eye Street and Tyler Avenue at around 11:00 p.m. Monday. A pickup truck and SUV collided, killing the driver and a passenger in the SUV. The truck driver is still in the hospital with unknown injuries.
The truck driver, whose name has not yet been released, has now been charged with intoxication manslaughter for his role in the accident.
When this story was first reported, it was not clear that alcohol played a role in the accident.
