SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, a woman was rescued by emergency responders last night after her car crashed due to a tire blowout.
The accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-35 at Rittiman Road at around 3 a.m. this morning, when a tire on the woman’s vehicle ruptured and caused the car to flip over and strike a light pole. The pole was knocked over and the woman was trapped in the vehicle.
An off-duty police officer was first on the scene, followed by an out-of-town ambulance. Fire fighters removed the woman from the wreck, and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
