ALICE, TX – The driver of a tractor-trailer was hospitalized with serious injuries after the truck overturned along SH-44 east of Corpus Christi Saturday.
According to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, the accident occurred on SH-44 near SH-359, just east of Alice city limits.
The driver of the truck was airlifted to a Corpus Christi hospital with serious injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash as of Tuesday.
