HIDALGO, TX – Authorities with the Alamo Police Department responded to an accident near the Alamo Palms RV resort Tuesday afternoon.
Officials on the scene say the crash occurred within the intersection of US-183 and South Alamo Road shortly after 2:00 p.m.
The crash was caused by the 22-year-old male driver of a 2012 Chrysler who backed into traffic without knowing and struck the passenger side of a 2015 Fiat.
No injuries were reported immediately following the incident.
