CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police department responded to a rear-end collision near State Highway 358 Saturday evening.
The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of South Pade Island Drive near the intersection with Webber Road shortly after 6:00 p.m. Police say the driver of a 2009 BMW followed too closely the car in front of him and ended up striking the rear of a 2014 Chevrolet when it slowed.
No injuries were reported immediately following the collision.
