SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least two people were injured as the result of a collision in the Tierra Linda neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Southcross Boulevard about a half-mile east of I-35 shortly before 2:30 p.m. when the 59-year-old driver of a 2007 Chevrolet backed out of a residence without looking and was struck by a 2004 Mercury.
Both occupants in the Mercury, a 50-year-old man and 51-year-old female, were injured as a result of the crash. The extent of their injuries and the cause of the collision remains unknown at this time.
