Injuries reported after truck wraps around pole in Northeast San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials in Northeast San Antonio reported injuries resulting from a tractor-trailer collision northeast of downtown Thursday night.

According to News 4 SA, the collision occurred on the I-35 frontage road near Toepperwein Road. Police say the truck collided with a utility pole at a high rate of speed causing the vehicle to be wrapped around the structure.

Police have not released any information regarding how many people were injured in the crash or the severity of their injuries at this time. We will continue to monitor this situation for any developments as they are made public.
