SAN ANTONIO, TX – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver who killed a pedestrian Thursday night and then fled the scene.
According to KTSA, the accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m., when a dark-colored pickup truck struck the unidentified pedestrian as he was walking in a marked crosswalk.
The suspect stopped initially, but only to check on the damage of his vehicle. He then sped away from the scene.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead a short time later. His identity is being withheld pending notification of the family.
