MCALLEN, TX – Officials with the McAllen Police Department responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision just north of downtown last Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred at about 6:36 p.m. at the intersection of North 10th Street and Gumwood Ave.
Officials believe the 16-year-old male driver of a 2005 Ford failed to yield to the right of way of a 2018 Mercedes-Benz and collided head-on.
Neither driver was injured as a direct result of the collision. However, both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage.
