CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – One person was injured as the result of a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on Kostoryz Road last Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred at about 10:40 a.m. within the 5400 block of Kostoryz Rd. near the intersection with Tiger Lane.
Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department believe the 20-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2005 Toyota failed to control her speed and collided head-on with a 2005 Peterbilt truck. A third vehicle was involved but left the scene of the crash before officials arrived.
The 43-year-old man in the truck was uninjured in the collision. However, the woman in the Toyota sustained a non-incapacitating injury.
