CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department reported two injuries resulting from a rear-end collision on State Highway 358 last Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 7:51 a.m. near the intersection with Kostoryz Road.
Police believe the collision was caused by the 28-year-old female driver of a 2005 Nissan failed to control her speed when approaching stopped or slowed traffic and collided with the rear of a 2009 Land Rover.
Both the driver of the Nissan and the 36-year-old woman in the Land Rover sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Details regarding the severity of their injuries were not mentioned in the report.
