SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was killed in a suspected DWI collision in north San Antonio Friday night.
According to KTSA, the incident occurred on Highway 281 near Henderson Pass around 1:30 a.m.
A speeding pickup truck collided with the rear of a Honda Civic, pushing it nearly 300 yards before it came to rest on the roadway. The woman driving the Honda was pinned inside her vehicle following the crash. Unfortunately, she had already died by the time emergency crews were able to free her.
The driver of the pickup truck failed a blood alcohol test following the crash and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
