MCALLEN, TX – McAllen police have reported at least one injury resulting from a rear-end collision on Hackberry Avenue last Wednesday afternoon.
The incidnet occurred shortly before 4 p.m. within the 1100 block of West Hackberry Ave. near the intersection with North 11th Street.
Investigators believe the 69-year-old male driver of a 2017 Kia was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a 2012 Buick.
The driver in the Buick, a 71-year-old woman, was reportedly injured as a result of the crash. No information with regard to the extent of her injuries has been released at this time.
