SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man died following a single-vehicle collision at a construction site on the Northeast Side early Friday morning.
According to My San Antonio, the incident was reported at about 2:40 a.m. along Wetmore Road near the entrance to McAllister Park, where traffic has been narrowed from five lanes to one.
Police believe the driver attempted to change lanes too quickly and lost control of his vehicle. The unidentified man drove through a backyard fence and into a tree.
First responders attempted to save the man’s life. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
