DONNA, TX – Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety are looking into the cause of a rollover collision that took the life of a Donna man Sunday afternoon.
According to The Monitor, the incident occurred along North Goolie Road just north of the intersection with Eldora Road around 1:20 p.m. when a Nissan Altima driven by Ruben Pina III rolled over along the roadway.
Police believe Pina was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle causing it to roll into a roadside ditch. Pina, 26, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
