BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a head-on collision north of downtown Saturday afternoon.
The incident was reported just before 12:30 p.m. when the 37-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2007 Pontiac made an unsafe turn and collided with a 2004 Land Rover near Resaca de la Palma National Battlefield.
Fortunately, neither the driver responsible nor the 30-year-old man in the Land Rover was injured in the crash. However, both vehicles sustained significant damage to their front ends.
