SAN ANTONIO, TX – The San Antonio Fire Department was called to the scene of a major house fire on the West Side early Thursday morning.
According to KTSA, the fire was reported at a residence within the 400 block of San Joaquin Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Investigators believe a man and his girlfriend were having a dispute when and man intentionally set the house on fire and fled the scene.
All three occupants in the home were able to escape safely. However, a dog was killed in the blaze.
No identifying information with regard to the man responsible for the fire has been released at this time.
