CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department reported a rear-end collision at a busy intersection Sunday evening.
The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Saratoga Boulevard and South Staples Street.
Investigators believe the 54-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2014 Chevrolet was traveling at a high rate of speed when she collided with the rear of a 2017 Ford.
Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor the 61-year-old woman in the Ford was injured as an immediate result of the collision.
