San Antonio man killed following collision on I-35

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in New Braunfels have released the identity of the man killed as the result of a high-speed suspected DWI collision Tuesday night.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred along I-35 near McQueeney Road at about 11:45 p.m. when 47-year-old Carlye James Donaldson lost control of his Ford Explorer causing it to roll and eject him.

Donaldson was pronounced deceased while en route to the hospital. The other two occupants in the vehicle, a 36-year-old woman and 41-year-old man, were also hospitalized following the collision.

Police believe drugs, alcohol, and speed all played a role in the collision.
