BROWNSVILLE, TX – One person was reportedly injured as the result of a suspected DWI accident in Brownsville last Tuesday afternoon.
The collision occurred shortly after 1 a.m. within the 500 block of East Madison Street, when the 27-year-old female driver of a 2020 Nissan side-swiped a 2004 Hyundai.
Police believe the driver of the Nissan—who was injured in the crash—was impaired at the time. However, the extent of her injuries remains unknown at this time.
The report does not specify whether the other motorist was hurt.
No identifying information with regard to the driver in the Hyundai has been made available at this time.
