SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash northwest of San Antonio Monday.
According to KSAT, the accident happened along Bartmer Avenue near the intersection with Benrus Boulevard.
Police say an unidentified driver was driving south on Benrus Blvd. at a high rate of speed when their truck hit another vehicle. The force of the initial impact sent the second vehicle into a third parked car nearby.
Two occupants in the second vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver responsible for the crash was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence.
The identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
