MCALLEN, TX – Officers reported five injuries resulting from a North McAllen car accident last Monday evening.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 5:37 p.m. along U.S. Business 83 near the intersection with North 23rd Street.
Investigators say the 29-year-old female driver of a 2010 Nissan ran through a stop sign and was struck head-on by a 2005 Chevrolet.
All five occupants in the Nissan, including two young children, were injured as a result of the crash. The 21-year-old male driver in the Chevrolet was also injured. The extent of the injuries remains unclear at this time.
