SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man died after being crushed by a rollaway semi-truck east of San Antonio Monday morning.
According to KSAT, the incident was reported at about 9 a.m. at a truck stop along Highway 90 just east of the SH-211 interchange.
Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department believe the victim was filling the tires of a front loader when a big rig began rolling towards them. He tripped and fell in the process of running away causing him to be crushed by the truck.
Police say the victim was not the driver of the big rig. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation into the accident.
