CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle collision near Del Mar College last Wednesday morning.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. within the 1900 block of Ayers Street near the intersection with 17th Street.
Investigators say the 77-year-old male driver of a 2011 Hyundai failed to yield the right of way to a 2021 Mercedes at the stop sign, causing the two vehicles to collide.
Luckily, neither the man in the Hyundai nor the 52-year-old woman in the Mercedes was injured in the crash.
