BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville were called to the scene of a suspected DWI collision along Houston Road early last week.
The March 3rd collision took place at about 12:55 a.m. near the intersection with North Minnesota Avenue.
Police say the 25-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2004 GMC was under the influence of alcohol when he collided head-on with a fixed object in the roadway.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. It is unclear if the driver responsible will face any charges.
