MCALLEN, TX – Police in McAllen responded to the scene of a collision involving several vehicles along I-2 last Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 2:28 p.m. just west of the exit to Bicentennial Boulevard.
Investigators say the 22-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2016 Jeep was speeding when he collided with the rear of a 2006 Dodge. The force of the initial impact sent the Dodge into a third unspecified vehicle.
No injuries were reported as a direct result of the collision.
