SAN ANTONIO, TX – Fire crews in northeast San Antonio were called to a rush-hour vehicle fire along I-35 Monday evening.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the fire was reported at about 5:05 p.m. within the northbound lanes of I-35 near the exit to Walzem Road.

It is still unclear what sparked the fire. However, the right lane was blocked for some time following the accident causing traffic to build up in the area.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the fire at this time.
