MCALLEN, TX – An elderly woman was injured after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck late last week.
The March 25th accident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. within the 4300 block of Mile 2 Road near the intersection with Bentsen Road.
Police say the woman behind the wheel of a 2018 Nissan was speeding when she made a faulty evasive action and struck the 2013 Kenworth tractor-trailer and a third vehicle.
The woman in the at-fault vehicle sustained unknown injuries in the crash. No other injuries have been reported as a result.
