SAN ANTONIO, TX – A convenience store clerk was hospitalized after a driver crashed through the storefront he was working in early Sunday morning.
According to KENS, the accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. at the Circle K within the 5900 block on Old Pearsall Road.
The unidentified female driver mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, sending her vehicle into the store and striking the clerk.
The victim, whose identity is not mentioned in the report, was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. No criminal charges are expected to be filed against the driver at this time.
