ALTON, TX – At least one person was injured as the result of a suspected drunk driving accident in Alton last week.
The accident occurred on April 16th within the 3500 block of East Main Avenue, just east of the intersection with North Glasscock Road.
Investigators with the Alton Police Department say the 28-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2008 Toyota had been drinking prior to rear-ending a 2008 Chevrolet.
The man responsible for the crash sustained unknown injuries as a result. Both occupants in the Chevrolet, ages 36 and 31, were unhurt.
