SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least one lane was closed following an early afternoon collision on I-35 near downtown San Antonio on Friday.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident took place shortly after 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the South Laredo Street overpass.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this time. However, police were forced to shut down the far left lane, causing traffic to back up to East Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash.
