SELMA, TX – At least two lanes were shut down following a traffic accident and ensuing vehicle fire on San Antonio’s northeast side Friday afternoon.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident took place shortly after 3 p.m. on the northbound side of I-35, near the Schertz Parkway overpass.

The circumstances leading up to the crash, and the number of vehicles involved are unclear at this time.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the fire. However, this situation is still developing.
Drivers have been advised to avoid the area as delays are likely going into Friday evening’s rush hour.
