MCALLEN, TX – At least one person was injured as the result of a rear-end collision near the Boeye Reservoir late last month.
The April 25th crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. along South 23rd Street at the intersection with the I-2 frontage road.
Responding officers believe the 48-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2019 Dodge was speeding when she collided with the rear of a 2013 Chevrolet.
The woman responsible for the collision sustained unknown injuries as a result. The 42-year-old woman in the Chevrolet was unhurt.
