ALTON, TX – An accident north of Alton resulted in one death and two hospitalizations on Thursday afternoon, KRGV reports.
The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of F.M. 1925 and F.M. 681. A 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis travelling east on F.M. 1925 failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a 2015 Ford F-150.
The 83-year-old driver of the Grand Marquis died at the scene. Two passengers in the Grand Marquis were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
