Crash on South Side leaves cyclist in the hospital

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man is in the hospital after being hit by an SUV on the city’s south side early Monday morning, Fox San Antonio reports.

The accident happened near the Poteet Jourdanton Highway at the I-35 access road around 1 a.m.

The victim is being treated for road rash and a broken collarbone.

The driver remained at the scene and is not expected to face charges.
