SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man died after being struck by a car near the community of Tierra Linda on Tuesday night, according to Fox San Antonio.
The crash occurred at the intersection of S. Zarzamora St and Milvid Ave. The victim, believed to be homeless, was crossing the street when a vehicle swerved to avoid striking him. The victim was then hit by a pickup truck that was behind the first vehicle.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of the collision around 9 p.m. They pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash. The driver will not face any charges from the collision.
