SAN ANTONIO, TX – Four people were injured when a car ran a red light and struck two vehicles on Tuesday night at Walzem Rd and Mesquite Farm Rd, KSAT reports.
The collision occurred when an adult male driving a Nissan sedan ran a red light and plowed into two other vehicles. One of the vehicles was a pickup truck occupied by a family of three. The impact caused the truck to roll over. The second vehicle was another sedan.
Paramedics, police, and firefighters were dispatched to the crash site around 9:45 p.m. They transported the family of three to Northeast Baptist Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Nissan was hospitalized at Brooke Army Medical Center with serious injuries. It is unclear if anyone else was in the Nissan during the wreck. Nobody in the other sedan was harmed.
