SINTON, TX – Authorities have released the name of the man who died following a collision with a semi-truck on Sunday, reports KRIS-TV.
Timetao Martinez Jr., 39, was hauling a trailer on southbound U.S. 77 when a tire blew out, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and plow into a semi-truck. The impact launched the pickup into the air and off the highway.
First responders were dispatched to the crash around 7:45 p.m. They pronounced Martinez Jr. dead at the scene of the accident and transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
