SAN ANTONIO, TX – KTSA News reports that a pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after a fire at the Springwood Apartments on Monday.
The eight-unit apartment building located at 1400 Gardina was engulfed in flames and heavy smoke when firefighters arrived at about 6 a.m. One resident of the apartments was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, and a pregnant woman was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
