SAN ANTONIO, TX – An accident that resulted in an injury involving three vehicles was reported on Hwy 90 near Marian St Monday, according to KSAT.
Police say that a black SUV driven by an unidentified woman struck the rear of a white sedan driven by a male in his 20’s on westbound Hwy 90. The collision locked the two vehicles together, causing them to spin and hit a third vehicle. The two cars stuck together then went off-road and slammed into a tree.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident around 11:30 p.m. They cut out the driver of the sedan, who was pinned inside his vehicle. Emergency crews took the victim to Brooke Army Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s female passenger was uninjured in the collision.
Authorities detained the driver of the SUV on suspicion of DWI. Police may charge her with intoxication assault depending on how badly hurt the victim is.
The condition of the people in the third car is unclear.
