SAN ANTONIO, TX – The driver of a pickup truck collided with a patrol vehicle and injured an officer at Clover Creek and Potranco Rd Sunday, KENS 5 reports.
The officer was blocking off the site of an earlier crash when the pickup truck driver slammed into the officer’s vehicle around 1 a.m. The officer was taken to an area hospital, where he was later released.
According to the police, the pickup truck driver may have had a medical emergency at the time of the collision, which could be why he could not stop before hitting the officer’s car.
The incident is currently under investigation.
