WESLACO, TX – Two people are dead after a driver slammed into a concrete pole beside a house on Mile 6 West Tuesday, KRGV reports.
Garret Guy Garcia, 22, was speeding in a blue Honda when he struck a side skid before colliding with the fence. Garcia and his passenger, Armando Castillo, 15, died at the scene around 10:37 a.m.
The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
It is unclear exactly where on Mile 6 West the crash happened.
