DONNA, TX – A driver died and five others died following a two-car crash on Val Verde Rd near Donna North High School Sunday, KURV reports.
According to the Texas Department of Safety, the driver of a Ford Taurus collided with a Chevrolet Malibu. The driver of the Ford was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and died from his injuries. The five people inside the Malibu were transported to an area hospital.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
