SAN BENITO, TX – The driver of a pickup truck struck and injured a woman on the 1600 block of Sam Houston Blvd Tuesday, according to Yahoo.
The driver struck the victim, a Hispanic woman in her mid-20s, as she was crossing the street around 7:30 p.m. First responders transported her to an area hospital in critical condition.
Following the collision, police interviewed and released the driver.
The police are still attempting to identify the woman and ask anyone with information concerning her identity to contact them.
