LA VERNIA, TX – According to KSAT, a driver fatally collided with another driver head-on at US Hwy 87 and CR 361 Saturday.
The driver of a Ford F-150 attempted to pass a vehicle when it collided headon with another Ford truck. The impact caused both vehicles to burst into flames.
First responders pronounced the two drivers, Jordan Williamson and Boyd Wayne Powell, dead at the scene. An occupant of Powell’s truck, Kenneth Monroe, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the wreck.
