SAN ANTONIO, TX – A child was rushed to the hospital yesterday after being electrocuted at an elementary school on the southeast side.
Fox 29 reports that the incident happened at Highland Hills Elementary, located at 734 Glamis Avenue, when the child’s necklace touched an electrical outlet.
The injured child is currently recovering at an area hospital.
San Antonio Independent School District says that an electrician was dispatched to test the school’s outlets, and found that they were all properly grounded.
