Driver strikes bicyclist after being hit by another vehicle on Bandera Rd

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A bicyclist was hit by an SUV that was involved in a wreck with a pickup truck on Bandera Rd near I-410 Thursday.

According to KENS 5, the driver of a Ford Expedition was on southbound Bander Rd when it collided with a pickup truck. The collision sent the Expedition out of its lane and into the sidewalk, hitting a bicyclist.

First responders transported the bicyclists, a man in his mid-40’s, to an area hospital in critical condition. Police arrested the driver of the Expedition for displaying erratic behavior. He was stuffing grass into his gas tank before being arrested.
