SAN ANTONIO, TX – First responders transported a 5-year-old girl to an area hospital in stable condition following a hit-and-run collision on I-10 EB near Crossroads Blvd Tuesday.
According to KSAT, the girl’s father and uncle were taking her to school when they crashed and the car rolled over. The father and the uncle pulled the girl out of the vehicle. They then handed her to a witness and told them to take her to the hospital. They then fled the area on foot.
Police located the uncle on the 2000 block of West Ave. He was taken into custody. Officers found identification for the girl’s father and mother were found in the vehicle. They are currently trying to find the girl’s family members.
