Just because you don’t feel like you’re that injured, you should always go be checked by a doctor and let him or her check your symptoms. If the doctor thinks you need further follow-up tests then you can go and do that, but oftentimes just because you’re in shock or just because of the adrenaline, people avoid getting medical care because they do not feel pain. I’ve seen people tell the paramedics that arrive at the scene they say they feel fine and don’t need to ride in an ambulance. Then they go home and lay down and four or five hours later they just start really hurting. And that’s not uncommon at all. So you should always follow up with some kind of medical professional.
